Convenience and Flexibility

Your Envoy vehicle is already located on your property and can be reserved for minutes, hours or days using the Envoy There app. Drive for as little or as long as you want. It's a great way to make a few bucks whenever you have the time. Envoy staff will walk you through the onboarding process and provide documents needed for driving with Uber.

How Do I Get Going?

Download The Envoy There app
Register your account and upload your driver's license and credit/debit card.
Unlock the car using the Envoy There app or an Envoy Key Coin. Make sure to unplug the charger. If the charger is stuck, press the "unlock" button twice inside the driver's side door.
Once in the vehicle, press your foot on the brake pedal and press the start button. Remember! The car won't make noise. The dashboard will light up, signaling that the vehicle is operable. Put the gear shift into drive and you're good to go!

How Far Can I Go?

These battery-powered wheels can get you quite far on a full charge - the 2018 VW e-Golf can take you 125 miles on a single charge depending on driving behavior. Each Envoy vehicle will display the real-time estimated miles of charge on the dashboard. Please be sure to check the current range when entering the vehicle. What Do I Do When I Get Back?

Put the vehicle's gear shift into park. Press your foot on the brake pedal and press the stop button simultaneously.

Also, please be a good neighbor! Remove your personal belongings and all trash, and don't forget to plug the charger back into the vehicle! Once that's all done, end your reservation within the Envoy There app.
