The two electric vehicles offered at no cost to residents are Nissan Leafs. BlueLA powered is a similar car-sharing service in Los Angeles that features fully electric vehicles. These vehicles are ideal for navigating around the city with a mileage range of up to 150 miles. Residents can travel safely knowing that their vehicles are fully charged because the property also provides Envoy charging stations onsite for the Envoy car sharing vehicles.

Pradera Apartments was designed by WHA as a sustainable “Build It Green” certified project. Community-based organizations are involved in the project to support the deployment of affordable and clean transportation alternatives and engage in community outreach efforts. It also complies with the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program for Federal assistance provided by HUD.
