Envoy partnered with the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles (HACLA) and the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI)
- One Electric Vehicle (Chevy Bolt) is offered to the community in Rancho San Pedro, a 21-acre, 478-unit public housing site across from the Port of Los Angeles, San Pedro, CA, for rideshare services.
- The program will provide direct access and affordable hourly rates (as well as alternative payment methods for the unbanked population)to EV’s.
- The geographic location of Rancho San Pedro and infrequent public transit makes it difficult for residents to connect to the City of Los Angeles and neighboring communities. LACI’s Rancho San Pedro Electric Car Share program will expand resident access to economic and health opportunities by expanding affordable, on-demand travel options as well as cut harmful air pollution.
